2014 Forest River Wildcat | Before & After FlexArmor Roof Upgrade
This 2014 Forest River Wildcat came into our Denton, Texas shop for a FlexArmor lifetime, no-leak RV roof, along with targeted repairs and upgrades designed to support long-term performance.
Before
Like many RVs of this age, the Wildcat showed signs that warranted a closer look beneath the surface. While exterior roof issues aren’t always obvious at first glance, underlying wood damage can compromise the integrity of any roof system if it isn’t addressed before installation.
Structural Repairs
During the prep process, areas of the roof decking were identified that required wood repair. These repairs were completed prior to installing the new roof system, restoring a solid foundation and ensuring the FlexArmor coating could properly bond and perform as intended.
Roof Upgrade
With the structure corrected, a FlexArmor seamless roofing system was applied, creating a one-piece, fully bonded surface designed to eliminate seams and reduce future maintenance. A Maxx Fan was also installed to improve ventilation and airflow inside the RV, enhancing comfort while maintaining a clean, professional roof layout.
After
The finished roof delivers a smooth, uniform appearance backed by a structurally sound base underneath. By addressing wood damage before sealing the roof, this Wildcat now has a long-term roofing solution built for durability, reliability, and peace of mind on the road.
This before and after gallery highlights the importance of doing more than just covering problems — it shows how proper preparation and repairs play a critical role in the performance of a lifetime RV roof system.
